Hey y’all, I’m whitney.
As a child, organizing filled some of the spare hours of my time–especially color-coordinating the hangers in my closet. Little did I know then that the intuitive need for order and spatial harmony would one day lead me to this beautiful career.
Before becoming a professional organizer, I attended the University of Texas, earning a degree in Elementary Education. A decade in educating young children taught me to be organized but flexible. It also taught me the importance of tailoring my approach to meet individual needs–something I value heavily in my organizing career today.

My very first project was organizing a pantry for a family while they were on vacation. The experience was so fun and rewarding that I immediately started researching how to start my own business. Simplified Austin was established in early 2020 and went from a passion project to a full-time career. The rest, as we say it, is history!

Austin has been home since birth. I appreciate this city’s quirky, buttoned-upness, perfectly harmonious with the laid-back lifestyle we all know and love here.
I’m a true crime junkie–documentaries, podcasts, you recommend it–I’ll dive in (if I haven’t already)!
Gus & Murphy, my Basset Hounds, are my pride and joy! I love pets of all kinds.
My trio of hobbies includes gardening, baking, and organizing–duh!
